How to split merged license..? my licenses merged

Andreas_GunawanAndreas_Gunawan Member Posts: 64
Dear All,
I am very dissappointing with navision. I have 2 licenses, one
has expired and one is not. However, the unexpire license merged
into the expired license that I kdon't know how could it be happened
meanwhile both licenses are not in the same folder. So, the new license
replaced the expired license but the license name is not merge.

First license issued to A (zipped), 2nd license to B

When I opened A, it is written license B, when I open B, it's ok. when extracted A, the license issued to C meanwhile beforehand it is A.

how could it be happened, o you mother f**ker navision..
stressful, disgusting and so on are now happened to me.
Anyhelp from you are appreciate so much. sorry for my rude words but why..why..why...
the license merged.
tku.

Rgds,
Andreas

Navision will not merge licenses. It will simply use what ever license is named FIN.FLF. Simply import the updated license and restart Navision.

Are you a end-user (client) or a developer (Microsoft partner)? A client's license file does not expire, so you probably used some license from a Microsoft partner.

Sorry about you bad experience with Navision. But you should remember this is a full blown ERP-package. It's not something you buy from your local software shop, install and run. Some training is needed and probably some Microsoft partner helping you with the implementation.

I am using partner license then I put in one folder with customer's license. The partner license's expired and the customer not. But the customer's license name is different with partner license, but when I open both, the content of partner license become a customer license.

You have not answered the question. Are you a Partner or an End-User?

The real question is which license should you be using? If this is a customer site, then simply delete all license files (*.flf) and install a clean copy of the client license. It sound like someone may have accidently copied one license over the other.

    Rgds,

This is stressful only when you don't know what's going on with Navision. Why not contact your local solution center and have them come out and take a look?

They should resolve all of your licensing problems VERY easily.
