Edit Description in Entry table

Hello

I would like to change the value of description field of posted entries.

I wrote a tool who changes the description in G/L Entry and in other related tables (Cust. Ledger Entry or Vendor Ledger Entry).

I have read many times not to edit data in "Entry" tables and i am asking myself if it is a so critical operation.

Description is not a "critical" field. However, I wouldn't recommend any non-developers to edit ledger entries in general.
