Can't print to Dot Matrix Printer from Citrix Client

One of my clients insist on printing to a dot matrix printer for checks. They connect to their server using Citrix client.

There is no problem at all to print to a laser printer from the Citrix client. They are also able to print to the dot matrix printer locally. But they can't print to the dot matrix printer from the Citrix client.

Does anyone have similar experience and have a solution for it? Or the client has to use laser printer?

    We are using citrix Metaframe 1.8 without Future Release, Windows 2000 latest SP's. Nf is also running on Windows 2000.

    We are printing in a remote location with matrix printers (and also laserprinters) without problems. What is the problem that you have ?

    (make sure that the printer driver name is the same on both citrix client and citrix server).

    When we printed to dot matrix printer, we got garbage characters. Anyway, we gave up on dot matrix. We pursuraded our clients to use laser printer.
