Parent Screen minimizes

Hi, i have a screen with a button which launches a child screen, when the child screen opens, the parent screen minimizes (this only happens if the parent screen is maximized when the button is pushed). It's driving me (and my client) mad. Has anyone come across this before.

how does the child screen act ?
We use that technic a lot without that problem - that is, with the parent screen is maximised, then the child will also be shown as maximised (It's also a good way of testing, whether I made my favorite type of error: Button's in bottom but with Glue-properties set wrong ).

Do either of the screens have properties set, that may provoke that kind of handling ?
What version of NAV are you using ?

Check the property "Maximizable" of the child screen. When set to "No", the child screen is displayed not maximized, but this will minimize the parent form as well.
