Are there any words of wisdom that you can offer before I embark on this journey? Any problems / methods or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
The reason we are going to 3.6 is because their license will not allow us to go past that. Evidentally these clients didn't get the "support" from Microsoft and 3.6 is as far as they can go.

You can use 3.7 with 3.6 license. Again, upgrade to 3.7b if you can.
You can use the 3.6 client (executables) but use the 3.7 objects. I don't think they've added new object to 3.7. If navision has, you could rename them to 50K. Test it first and you should be better off.

Thanks for the replies. We are just upgrading the executable, and we already have newer, better objects in place at the stores (3.7). One question I do have is when you update the executables (server and client), do you need to uninstall then reinstall or can you just install it over the current version. I'm actually more concerned with updating the server rather than the clients, so if you have any experiences that you would like to share, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
