Application Version, ApplicationBuild

Hi,

Why are the following functions required?
Codeunit 1
ApplicationVersion
ApplicationBuild
BaseApplicationBuild

As far as I understand they are not used in C/AL code in Navision.

They are used to know which version of the objects you are using. A part of it is shown in Help=>About MBS-Navision

It looks like the only ApplicationVersion is used. And what about ApplicationBuild?

Build No. (which appears after double-click on the version number) is linked to the fin.exe Build, not to the ApplicationBuild function.

Probably some internal (=Navision) development version number. Something we NSC's don't need.
