Special Order on Sales&Purchase in Nav4. How or does it

Does the Special Order function work in Nav 4. I see it does not work any diff in that a drop ship in Nav3.7.
Is it ...or how does it work in Nav4?

Can you explain more about your question? Are you asking how does Special Order work in general? Or how has it changed since 4.0?

1. Special orders are similar to drop shipment, however, the items are shipped to your warehouse instead of having the vendor ship to your customer directly.

2. It hasn't changed much from 3.x to 4.x

In 4.0 there was a small bug for both Special Order and Drop Shipments. If you used it on a Sales Record that wasn't a special order or drop shipment, you'd just get some random Purchase doc.

I didn't see there is bug in the version 4.0, I can use it well.
I don't know if local navision in your country has the bugs
