Fixed Asset Charge Assignment ?

Hi!
Is it possible to do charge assignment to fixed asset because I have purchase orders with mixed lines (both items for sale and FA) that receive shared charge.

Spliting purchase and charge invoices into few separate documents and than using FA journal (Acquisition Cost/Appreciation) for charge or using some dummy Item with specific cost and item tracking is not so convenient.
Any ideas?

Hi,
It is not possible to assign Item charges to Fixed Assets.
You can split charge in two lines: a) Item charge - assign it to item; b) use line of type G/L Account for second FA charge.

And after this document is posted, use FA G/L Journals for appreciation and transfer charge amount from G/L account to FA.
