Cannot create new V4 SQL Databases

The following error is experienced trying to create or open v4 SQL Databases.

"The database on the server does not contain Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision System Objects."

This doesn't appear to be a problem with authentication. The same error is returned with database/windows authentication.

I have also tried to create a V3 database on the server but with the same results.

What system objects is Navision referring to?

I have corrected the problem. The client had deleted the values in the master.$ndo$srvproperty table

It's easy to fault the customer for this, but this happens to the best of us. Amazing how just getting rid of things we don't recognize gets us in trouble. Similar things happened to me when I was a bit too enthousiastic about removing what I thought was spyware...
