Is there any other format besides HTML to save a report preview screen?

You can print to a pdf-file.
Search the forum for PDF for more info. There is a lot of it.

printing the preview to a pdf file actually prints the thing, so it would not be just a preview anymore.

Perhaps what was ment was - how can I save a report without printing it out - kind-o-thing

gotcha, I thought it was more of a 'I want to print an invoice without increasing the number of times printed' kind-o-thing
