Role without permissions?

Why is there no permissions associated with the BANKDEPOSIT-EDIT role in Navision 4.0 SP1? Where can i find the permissions for this role?

There is a permission tool on the download site. With this tool you can record your own roles and assign them to users.

There should be a lot of permissions for that role, there is in mine 4.0 non-sp1 database, and there is on the cronos sample database. Your permissions must have been deleted.

This is really weird...i checked Cronus USA of 4.0 SP1 and the permissions are missing for all the Bank deposit roles.
But they are present in 4.0 (non SP1)....hmmm weird.

Did you do an upgrade and forget to import the permissions over?

i did take care of the permission part during upgrade.
what i meant is, there is no permissions at all for those roles in the Cronus database (4.0SP1) from the installation CD....it is just very weird.

Maybe it contradicts USA laws and people should not use it by conscious localization decision.

hmm...i dont know what it is, but i copied over the permissions of those bank deposit roles from 4.0. Cronus.
