Navision roles and permissions

I am using Navision 4 with SQL 2000. I am using client monitor and give permission form to assign the new permissions to the user which records all the activity which I do for the user.
Problem is that I can find the table number and the read and execution permission for the table but when I tries to logon with that role it still gives me the same permission error for the particular table. For example I have permission to read sales line table in the defined role but I am still getting error to read the retail item card of not having permission to read the sales line table.
And similarly for many other tables as well. Although I am able to synchronise the security successfully with SQL Database.

Can any one help me in this regard?? Thanks in advance.

After you have assigned permission to that particular user, he/she need to logout the system first before new permission setting takes effect. Have you tried that?

Also with 4.0 you have synchronize security after each change for a user.

Yes I did logout and tried to login again. And as I stated earlier the security synchronisation is successfull.

Do any one has any other easy way to make new role and table permissions??
Also in Pane designer eveyr new user gets all the default menus I have to uncheck each menu one by one from the user and leave check marked on the desired one, how can I assign particular menu as we used to do in 3.70..
    Please help guys!

Here is a link to a demo on how to seup security. Take a look at standard roles. They give you enough info on what tables you need for a given user.
