I did the exam last friday. Just study the course you can get from Microsoft. Quite a few questions are "in detail", so study it thoroughly. Also get familiar with the Microsoft-terminology (used in the course).

The best tool for the NAV 40-226 exam is the Microsoft suggested book. As well, you can check the pdf files. There are no tricky questions, just follow the book and depend on your experience working with Navision, and you will get it.

    What about this one:

When doing a database test, all error can ben shown on:
    - screen
    - event viewer
    - event journal
    - error log
    (select all that apply)

Now, in the course the answer is:
    - to the screen
    - to the event viewer
    - to a file in a certain path.

Now, what the hell do they mean with "error log", because imho, a file where errors are logged, is an error log as well, no? - and there were other questions like this.

Really, the "select all that apply" type of questions were not that easy.

    Good luck man :)

Congrats Waldo, that's not an easy exam. Not so much how difficult it is, but how much information that you have to keep in your head. It's a nice manual to have for reference though.

Actually, I did the exam and got 81%....

And I confirm that the book is the best tool.

What are the servers supported by Navision?

    a-SQL Server
    b-Windows 2000
    c-Navision Database Server
    d-Windows 2003 server

    Guess the right answer ;)

    joking eh...
