Linking Fixed Assets

Hi,
I have a query in relation to linking Fixed Assets. Instead of acquiring a FA all in one it is possible to acquire it in separate parts. I would like to know how to link the separate parts together so that when depreciation is applied it will be applied to all part assets that are linked together. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Darrren.

Hello dmonahan
Navision has Main Asset Component, but it is used just for informational purposes. If you setup the Fixed assets correctly. There is a periodic activity that will calculate depreciation for all the fixed assets and you can post them. You can group your fixed assets and run filter the report by that group.0
