Requisition Worksheet and Production Order

Hi all,

Currently we do create Purchase order manually by doing entries in Purchase Order form. Now we want to use Requisition worksheet for creating a Purchase order. I searched and found how one can create a PO from requistion worksheet using "Calculate Plan" and "Carry out action message" functions.

I want to know that is there any way by which Firm planned Production orders, Families and Requisition worksheet can be related?
I mean is there any way using which i can create a requisition worksheet from Production Order?

also I would like to know the advantages of using requisition worksheet for creating PO instead of directly creating PO.

The order tracking is used to to relate your production order by means of tracking method and can be seen in requisition worksheet or planning worksheet.

You can use production order --> order ---> planning --> functions --> calculate plan.
from there you can directly create Purchase order for production order no. that you are being open.

You will have entry the item automatically (in PO, is manually), it will fulfill your demand (Sales order, service order or production order), you can see which POs that have to be rescheduled, of course new POs that must be created, change vendor if there is a sudden changes, you can also create template for doing batch job and requisition worksheet is a requisition line that can be treated as purchase requisistion (PR) so you can make a report for the PR and capture the data from the line.

Hi,
You can make Requisition worksheet (purchases) from Manufacturing module.
You need to calculate net change / regenerative plan in Planning Worksheet (manufacturing) and then, when you use function Carry Out Action Message, in the Options for Purchase order select "copy to Req. Wksh".
