Hello everybody,

I just started C/AL programming. Besides the usual comments on the editor, i really like the way Navision works.
Thanks to the intuitive design and this forum i was programming the first day at the job.

But i've got one question though.
I've got a number of items in a table, with among other things, a datetime.

My problem arises when i want to group them for a report. I want to group the records per day, but i can't just put DT2DATE in the key.

Is there a way to group records with a datetime per day.

I tried various thing like using the virtual Date-Table but just can't get it to work.

I've created an extra date field with the date part of the dateTime in my table as a temporary solution.
But this kind of data redundancy is offcourse not wanted.

So does anybody have a better solution?

In my opinion there is no better solution than add the date column there... :-)
