Hi,
Damn, I wanted to have the fist post here. =P~
I was at TechEd last week (as probably everyone knows
), I was part of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV team there.
They realy started drilling everyone about saying Dynamics NAV instead of Navision.
All of the microsoft employees were having difficulties with this, and so jave I, but I find myself very confortable with the Dynamics NAV thing after a week.
Mabye I'll fall back into my old habits after that. O:)

Navision
That's twice the number of syllables.
The thing is that the actual product is still called Navision. The installation folder is called Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision. The about screen still says Navision. If they want me to use Dynamics NAV, they should name the product Dynamics NAV. Let's call things the way that they are called shall we. Using a different name for marketing purposes just doesn't make sense to me.
I was involved in the new version of the Installation and Config training manual, and all references of Navision were changed into Dynamics NAV, and it just felt weird to me, because the product just does not have that name.0 -
If you want to show off of being a reeeeal veteran, just call it Concorde :-)0

Don't use dirty language on this forum

Concorde was the old X-AL solution by damgaard before the big Axapta bang. Back then axapta was also a flexible solution O:)
The dos version used to be called the blue version. But I hardly have any experience with Dos, exept for some minor changes which I can harly remember. I started with version 1.whatever for windows.0 -
