Database Service stops with event 7023 Incorrect Function

Hello everyone, have an issue...
2 nights in a row now, my database service has terminated in the middle of the night with a pretty vague error:
Event ID 7023
The Navision Attain Database Server XXXXXXX service terminated with the following error:
Incorrect function.
I manually start it up again and it works fine..if I do an sc query, it doesn't shed any light on the error, the exit code is just plain 0..
Any ideas what might be causing this error and how I can resolve it?

It looks to me like you have a version problem. Did you recently have a software upgrade or something? I've seen similar errors even between 3.70A and B, or different builds, even hotfixes not completely applied. So if you have recently had a hotfix installed you need to make sure that all executables and dll files have been replaced.
