Navision 4.0SP1 Client Application Error

In our enviroment we are using Navision 4.0SP1. One out of 59 users who are using Navision Client 4.0SP1. Reports the following error below when closing Navision Client. I would also like to note that the below message appears when ever Navision is closed by the user.

finsql.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x35fa132f" referenced at "0x08442a5c". The memory could not be "read"

The only running applications at the time are the following.

1. MS Outlook 2003 SP1
2. Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1
3. A few in house applications
4. Navision client 4.0 SP1

I have completed the below to try and fix the problem.

1. Uninstalled the Navision client / re installed
2. Re created a new Zup.fin file
3. Re created a new windows local profile
4. Re installed Windows XPSP2
5. Replaced the physical memory

It really appears to be a problem with the application. Any suggestions?

Try the following test:

1. Have the "problem user" login at another computer. Using their network id and Navision login. Do they get the error?

2. have another user login at the "problem user" computer. Using their network id and Navision login. Do they get the error?
