Could I skip CU in the form 5806 (NAVW14.00.02) ?

Dear All,
I would like to ask you if I can skip the use of CU Item Charge Assgnt. (Purch.) that is written in the variable tab of C/AL global in the the form 5806 ?? Pls let me know the answer.
I try to understand the function of the CU in the form. tks in advance

Not if you want Item Charges to work. This form is used to select reciept lines to assign item charges.

I generally use the opposite rule.... If I don't understand something I leave it alone, I typically don't disable it
