                    Hi,
we had a strange problem on the client. we ran the Aged debtors report on one of the client machines and it copied the balance figures of first customer to all the customers on the report. Is it a virus ? because when we tried running it from remote desktop , it worked fine. we didn't try restarting the machine. But its working ok on that machine as well.
Has anyone of you ever cam across this situation. Because of this client has extended the GOLIVE date.
Regards,

I have never heard of a virus striking a Navision database.
:?
Try to examine the report, see if it modifies, deletes or inserts data. If not, the report shows incorrect data. If so, there might be a bug in the report messing up the data in your system.0 -
No there isn't a bug on the report because it happened only on one machine not on others. Others were showing right figures.
Its very strange.

I hate to ask, but is this one machine connected to the right database?0
 -
Yes it is and now its giving the right figures also. But because it happened once and fter restarting the machine its working fine.
Client has lost its confidence and he wants an explanantion why it happened and we do not have the answer.

Probably you didn't close the client after an upgrade. Navision has a "object cache", so it worked with previous report. Every time you upgrade the oblects you must tell the user to restart the client.I don't envy anybody who caught up his aim. I travel gladly.0

            Yes, it can be:
1) Object Cache
2) Used filters and settings (for example, someone run the report without entering all values on request page and the report worked with empty value and the value was used to filter something... :-))0
