Smart Tags

Hi All,

Can any one plz tell me that what is Smart Tags in Navison which is found in the Administrator--->IT adminsitrator--->Smart Tags.

What is the use of it.

Hi every one I got the answer of my question:

Just to share with u all is that If Smart Tags is enbled in the Navision and i am the employee of the company & I am working in office xp i can get all the information about the customer in the excel it self without going to the various screen in Navision.

This is what i understand Kindly correct me If I am wrong.

Yes, you can set the SmartTag database for your company and after than, if Office find some text which is in your DB as "SmartTag", you will have the informations about this "Tag" (it can be anything from your DB - contact name, customer name, item name, item no....). But you need to install the Client and Server from SmartTag folder on your Navision Install CD...
