You can use terminal services. Create small windows in navision and you are set.
Also if you search the form there are a couple of other solution mentioned.

    I think he means..
you can create your own custom smaller forms in Navision to access the data you need. The smaller forms are easier to read on CE

    Hello,
In France we have a software called Moby.
With this software you can use navision on a Windows CE platform,
but you have to specify what data you want to show on you windows CE.

    Regards.

    Hi,

We are looking to run navisin through a citrix client on a CE device - has anybody had success with this?

I was looking at the default navision screen and there is a lot of space taken up by icons and such - is there anyway to get rid of or reduce this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

click on view tool bar and uncheck what you don't want to see. I would recommend creating smaller forms.

There is a company I think located in Canada who has A mobile solution for dynamics NAV.

They held a session about this at TechEd but I was not able to attend because of my Demo stand Duty. :(

I don't have details with me because we are at the Boston Airport know, but I'll post the details sometimes next week.

I know the solution is based on integration on SQL level.[Which on this moment is THE best way to integrate with Dynamics NAV]

    Ah... the toolbar definitely helped.

How do you mean "smaller forms" - just use the forms editor and create a form that is smaller than the normal size? I belive the CE window is around 320x240 pixels or something like that.

    Thanks.

You're going to have to explain that further, because I don't see a way around the business logic when you integrate directly on SQL Server. I just finised an integration using ADO from Navision that uses SQL statements, but I doubt that is all there is to a mobile solution.

By using RDP you can have a problem to read data from local ports (USB or COM). You can allow to map local ports, but it is hard to set up properly in NAV code and this is a possible security hole to your NAV server.
