Urgent: Executables upgrade problem

Hi,
I've accidentally upgraded my production database to 4.0 SP1 from 3.70A and whenever i tried to login with windows authentication it won't work anymore. It gives me user and password is invalid
Anybody encountered this problem before? as this is urgent because it's production server and the users are unable to access the system currently.
