4.0.sp2 / SQLServer 2005 - Alter Database problem

Does anybody have a solution to the following problem?
Client: 4.0.sp2 - SwissGerman (DES) on WinXP
Server: SQLServer 2005 Standard Edition, SP1 - German on WinXP
Procedure:
1. Create an empty database and import CRONUS
2. Close the client
3. Start the client, connect to the database
4. Menu: File -> Database -> Alter...
then the following error message will be shown:
'You cannot enter '2147483648 KB' in Integer. The cursor is in front of the invalid character.'
Client: 4.0.sp2 - SwissGerman (DES) on WinXP
