Hi,
We have installed Navision 4.0, but are unable to restore a native database (created in 3.7). I get the error that the license we have does not permit us to restore such a large database. Could anyone give me any more information on this issue i.e. which license I should be looking at etc. This is a matter of urgency.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I tried re-installing Navision on my laptop as specified in the W1W1ISM.pdf document. I installed the database server as custom and chose the license file that I recieved on a seperate CD. I still get the same error though 'You cannot use such a large database with this program license'. I viewed the license file and have inserted the detail below:

I downloaded the software from our MSDN site and the license file was an additional download from there. Is it possible that I am still using the wrong license file? How can I tell?
Thanks
If you are a certified partner your organistation should have a developerslicense (4) and a testlicense (3). You can use either one of them to restore the database.
