I need to customize Navision CRM Interaction to work via SMTP instead of Outlook (Navision users work via Remote Desktop and Outlook is not available).
In particular, I need to send e-mails via smtp with word documents attached.
Word documents are created thorugh a merge process with merge fields by the standard interaction process of Navision CRM.
My problem is that when you receive the mail and try to open the attached document, you are asked: "If you try to open this document the folowing SQL command will be executed.... Do you want to continue?".
If you say yes you are asked to specify the path of the source file. As it is missing, the document appears with merge fields unfilled.
Is there a way to get a "real" word doc that does not need a separate data source?
