Permissions to design Navigation Pane

Hello,

In the Navigation Pane Designer the function "Create new option" doesn´t appear for the develloppers.
It only does for our Supervisor.

Does anybody know wich permissions are missing in the devellopper roles ?

Hi,
I don't know whether you will need or not but if you want to see permissions detail in a certain licence, you can download navision license viewer from this forum. I have had it and I can use it to see permissions, granules, object type etc...use the search facility in this forum. g'luck

What is the difference between a Developer and a Supervisor in your organisation?

Supervisor has all-objects rights

For Navipane-Design , Devellopers have those two permissions:

MenuSuite 0 , all rights
System 9070 , all rights

So I think some permissions are missing. It has not really something to do with our license because it works for the Supervisor.

I mean that in navision licence viewer there are detail of permissions of a certain licence. if you have it, you will see 3 tabs consists of general, granules and permissions. tab granule and permissions have table consists of columns, but different one another.

License doesn't seem to be an issue bcoz it works with the supervisor's id.

I believe it has something to do with the permissions:

Assign the System Permission 9075...in addition to
System 9070 and Menusuite 0 assigned

I believe this should solve your problem

Yes, the 9070 is only to change the order of the menusuite, not to add new menuoptions.

Add 9075 Design, MenuSuite, Advanced
