Report Document not printing the same on a Dot Matrix

I have two documents, a sales order and a pick ticket, that print perfectly on laser (and print preview). When I send the same report to a dot matrix printer (using multi-part forms) it skips some of the detail fields, e.g. it prints the item number but not the description.
Any clues? ](*,)

if you search the forum ( http://www.mibuso.com/forum/search.php ) for Dot Matrix there are plenty of posts on how difficult it is to configure.

In general for speed setting the printer up for Generic /Text Only is the way to go.

I have has similar problems with lasers - but upgrading the driver solved my problem

I discovered the problem. I had another similar one that worked, so I examined the problem documents carefully and discovered that the fields that did not print on the dot matrix had the Multiline attribute set to Yes (don't ask me why). Changing them No made the report print them.
