Problem when trying to validate a Sale's Order!

Hello,
I created a sale's order and i'm trying to validate it. I got an error message telling me that "Sale's order Posting date is not included in the allowed period"!
I tried to change the posting date but still got the same problem,what does it mean?What should i do? :?

Look at "General Ledger Setup" > On a "General" Card > and make sure your posting date is in "Allow Posting From" and "Allow Posting To". Or try to change this period

I've done what you said but i still got the same error.
"Allow posting from " = 01/09/04
"Allow posting to" = 31/12/05
"Posting date" = 240/5/05

That doesn't work!!What is the problem? What should i do? :roll:

Do not forget, that you can override the global settings for allowed date in GL - Setup - Users - User Setup. Check the limits there for your user account.

Do you also have defined a period by user ?

See in User Setup ...

Thanks that was caused by a restriction in user setup.
