Flowfields and Count in Business Analytics

Hi

I have a lot of problems in this installation

A) How can I translate a flowfield from my table to the cube? I try in table measures, in the field Expresion, to try the flowfield , with aggregation=sum. But I get an error when I process the cubes, in the step 2 when Transfer the data: "Name of the column ´flowfieldname´ is not valid".

Another question related, I try to make this flowfield because I can´t find how to make a "Count" in my cube. How can I count registers and put this in the analysis?

c) The field Aggregation seems not to work. You can put it in the option "Count" but then, the XML have a "Sum" value.

You cannot use flowfields in the Cubes. They are not existing on MS SQL DB. You need to use SUM on the correct detailed table. For example, if you want inventory of some item, you need to do SUM on Item Ledger Entries Quantity field ...

Ok, I understand it about flowfield, but.... once I have a cube processed, is posible to make a "count" in the BA client? For example, in the cube "Item", when I filter it by one dimension I create, and I want to know how many items do I have for each dimension value...

In my opinion yes, but I do not know how... you need to go through BA on-line help if you found some function you can use to define your new column...
