Another WMS question

When I set a Cross docking bin the program does not allow me to create receive orders, either from the purchase order nor the Whse, creating an error message There is no bin within the filter. Filters: Location Code XYZ, Code ZYX, Cross Docking bin: yes.
On the other hand when I don't use a default bin for cross docking everything is processed as normal.
Any ideas as to why it does that and how I can overcome this problem?

Have u set the cross dock bin on the llocation card.
If not then define it .This bin will be that which will have crossdock=yes

I did that already but I still cannot manipulate the receipt through either the purchase order or the Whse receipt. When I leave the cross dock code blank in the location then I can processes the receipt but I have to manually define the cross dock bin. It is very annoying

have u define cross dock bins ub=nder that zone if not then define it and check Use Cross Dock on the location card as well as item card.........

this may solve ur problem.........

I forgot the check in the location>bin section.
