Connecting Navision DB via VPN

Hi all,

I would like to connect Navision DB via a VPN connection. Just wonder is there anything that I need to be aware of like the firewall setting, windows setting and how could the network structure like?

There is no setting. The only thing that you'll notice is performance degradation depending on the line. Normally if you are connecting outside of the network, citrix or terminal services is recommended, you can still use VPN on top of them.

As ara3n wrote: minimal req. for the client is 10MB/sec line. If you use terminal services or citrix, minimal req. is 64kB/sec.
