Then, in the extra-menu select translate, export. This results in a text file with one line per text that needs to be translated.

Translate these texts (be careful not to mess up the codes that are on the lines).

In the object-designer select the same objects as in the first step.

From the extra menu select translate, import et voila.
[/list]

It's actually very easier, but depending on the size of the application you might want to contact Navision Software. They have a so called "PRODUCT TOOLKIT" available. Or had. I haven't seen or heard about it in years now.

I have recently translated the WHOLE of NF 2.01A to Afrikaans. I couldnt find the product toolkit and did it all using MS Access. The only problem with translating this way is that you cannot change the fin.stx file and dialog boxes still display "Yes" "No" etc in thew original language. I would appreciate if anyone can supply details on how to change the .stx file.

I was asked about that 2 month ago our local NF center. They told that it exists, but it needs special licence. Sure NF don't share it to NSC. Using this tool u can change *.stx *.etx too. This tool is used for localization of NF. As I heared localizacion functions can not be shared in local zone.
Funny ?!?!? :
if you need to traslate obj use MultiEdit
if you need edit stx or etx find cracker
Anyway, I will be very glad to see there results of contacting with NF. Translation is important to me too.
regards
Anyway, it is not really necessary to change the STX if you are translating your application into a language already supported by Navision.
