zetafax printer selection

i have looked through the search answers, but cant find any specifically to this question !

we use zetafax to send p/orders and s/orders and this works fine (all fax numbers/contacts are sent through). one thing we do have to do is when printing a fax order, change the printer driver to the fax printer. As not all orders are faxed, then i can not set up the default printer to print to zetafax.

is there anyway round this, so that when the print button is pressed, it automatically faxes with no interventation (we are looking at faxing confirmations over night un attended)

You could go to Administration => Application Setup => General => Printer Selections to define default printers for specific reports or users.

You would still have to change the report properties to not show the request form or change the command line of Report.runmodal to set Show Request Form = No

It´s not run if you want to send a contact interaction.

The big problem appears when you try to send a fax in the form 5077 Create Interaction.

i did think of this, but sadly this would prevent the user printing out any hard copies should they need too (ie for reference or those contacts without fax - yes we do still have them :eek:!)

Hi all,
I'm facing this problem too and interested in knowing how this could be solve. I ever tried hard to find the solution for this issue but unfortunately still yet not get the solution .

If user print reports in batches and few pages need to be send through fax and other pages might need to print as hard copy base on certain condition and default printer driver was set to Zetafax. So how can we control this since no coding for switching printer driver??
