Hello!

When using the Req. Worksheet the Item Card Inventory value is never used in the calculation. I not use Locations or SKUs.

Any idea how to calculate reqs with inventory values?

If you have the item card --> Planning --> Reorder Policy
    set to:

    Maximum Qty.
    Fixed Reorder Qty.
    Lot-for-Lot

there is an option box you can check

    "include inventory"

for some strange reason, the box is disabled from editing for everything but lot for lot. So you can change it there and then change to max or fixed and the check mark will stay.

We ran a non-printing report to update all item cards that have a max set to also check this box, then your inventory stock is used in the calculations

Thanks a lot for your answer themave!

I think I have tried every possible configuration on the item card. I also checked all Include Inventory fields in the Item table but still nothing works.

    We use Navision 4.0...

    Dear Rossi,
One thing you must know that the item that its replenishment system set to purchase that can be generated using calculate plan in the requisition worksheet. beside that manufacturing policy is also influence. Open Purchase Order, Sales order (for item's replenishment system is purchase), production order component of a production order that tracked to sales order, are also the requirement. Don't forget to fill reordering policy (RP). If you select order as your SP, the inventory value will not influence calculation in req. worksheet, and lot for lot, you can disregard inventory check or choose it. If you have used planning worksheet to calculate MRP but not yet carry out action message, then you calculate plan using requisition worksheet, the result in the planning worksheet will disappear but appear in the requisition worksheet.

    Dear Rossi,

Kindly make sure that in your item card :
    1. The manufacturing policy in the replenishment tab coincides with the Re ordering policy in the planning Tab. The frame work will take into account all these factors also
    2. For Lot to LOT & Order the manufacturing policy should be Make to order
    3. For Fixed reoder Qty & Max. Qty it should be make to stock.

Now try a req, wrk sheet with this factor also in mind.
Hope you get your required results.

    all the Best!
