Aged Account receivable

Hi

One of our client is comparing the figures between chart of accounts and aged account rerceivable report with a past date.

But he is finding differences because the report also take in to account the application entries that has been posted after the end date.

Do we have a report which doesn't look at applications or can we modify this one.

If you edit the report 10040 Aged Accounts Receivable

Data Item --> Cust. Ledger Entry

    remove the filter Open=Const(Yes)

the report will work correctly, it takes much longer to run, but it will come up with the right number. I ran into this problem also. In 2.0 we could run and aging at anytime and it would match the g/l based on the date, After our upgrade to 4.0 I was not able to print an aging after the fact.

Yes the report was fixed in SP2. If you export it from SP2 and import into your database, you'll be set.

Yeah I did the same and I believe I posted on mibuso on the issue. The consultant searched MS knowledgebase and found the article there.

I checked with SP2 report , it still does not match it with chart of accounts
if you filter it on past date like ..31/03/06

Then it's an issue with the application date for the invoices and payments. for the customers.
