User Menu Suites

Back in the pre 4.0 days, you could create main menus for users. Is there a way to create and assign a menu suite to a specified user? I know that permissions and the license file control what you can see, but I want to limit the menu options without having to hide on each workstation through the zup file.

if click on tools Navigation Pane designer. Right click on any menu and select Assign to user. Uncheck the users you don't want them to see the menu.

also, in user design, you can assign the main menu to a specific user as in previous versions.
    administration/application setup/users/user setup

LS Retail addon has moved the field to 4.0 and are using it. Maybe he is talking about that. Or it could be that they upgraded and NSC moved the changes.

    right
i've checked and there is a ls4.1 tag on the user setup form, so ara3n is right. it's coming from the ls retail add-on.

i'm so used with this ls databases that i didn't thought about checking the object version...
