Navision 4.00 vs. SP1: lock timeout

alijartealijarte Member Posts: 30
All,

SP1 client comes with a new option when creating DBs, which is the possibility to set your own LOCK TIMEOUT.

I was wondering about the value that was used on 4.00, does anyone know?
Was it 10 seconds?

Thanks,
Ch.

In older versions there were no timeout on MS SQL = it was 0 (infinite)...

And in case you want to change it temporary, there is a new C/AL statement : "[LockTimeout :=] LOCKTIMEOUT([LockTimeout])" (with F5 in the C/AL editor, you find it under DATABASE)
