how to retrive information regarding Company delete

tajahamedtajahamed Member Posts: 5
Hi everybody,

Does anyone know how to retrieve the information about which user (belonging to super user group) has deleted the company?

The customer is using 4.0 with native Database.

Is there a way to audit this company deletion/insertion etc?

Thanks in advance
Taj

I believe once you delete a company it is gone forever. That's why it asks you "are you sure" twice. MS might have a tool to restore it, although I don't think so.

And even if they had a tool, once you start writing something else, it can overwrite "deleted" data (Just like the undelete-tools for MS-DOS in the old days).

Right so the only real possibility of recovering your data is to have the database file right after the company was deleted AND before anything else was done. It only takes one missing bit to corrupt a database.
