hi all,
i have been able to successfully install the various components for the commerce portal.Now the supplierad pup package(comming with the commerce server 2002 ) gets unpacked properly and the site loads(although it has some error saying that "we are sorry for inconvinience").
now when i try and do it for Commerce serverb 2002 then the following error occurs:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e37'
Invalid object name 'COMMERCE_WEBSITE'.
/CommercePortal/global.asa, line 657
if i open the global.asa file and save it then the following thing happens:
<font face="Arial" size=2>
<p>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server</font> <font face="Arial" size=2>error '80040e37'</font>
<p>
<font face="Arial" size=2>Invalid object name 'COMMERCE_WEBSITE'.</font>
<p>
<font face="Arial" size=2>/CommercePortal/global.asa</font><font face="Arial" size=2>, line 657</font>
can anyone help

Hi,
it seems that you did not start a synchronization yet.
You have to run manually Codeunit 6205 Synchronization Management and select Tables and Data.
