Importing Security

Hello,

During a migration from 2.60 to 4SP1, I've lost all the security settings( Users, Roles, Autorisations,Passwords,...) how can I retrieve it from 2.60 and import it to 4SP1???

You can use dataports to export and import.
Remember to skip the records that are for group "SUPER". These can not be inserted/modified/deleted. If you try, Navision gives an error.

1/ Make a Dataport for the following tables
2000000002 User
2000000003 Member Of
2000000004 User Role
2000000005 Permission

2/ Export (using this dataport) from your 2.60 Database

3/ Import the exported file (step 2) into your 4.1 database

4/ Get a cup coffee & relax, you're not going to be fired today ;-)
