How to Save the Settings ?

Hi,

Normally when ever you change the settings on form layout, I believe that it gets stored in zup file when you close Navision and it prompts you for saving the changes.
But why does it stops prompting sometimes. what shall we do so that it allways saves the settings?

It saves the settings when you exit even if it doesn't prompt you.

You get the prompt when you have a session open and you logon to another session. when you close them you will see the message
"Do you want to replace the ZUP file?".

I guess it has to do with it not knowing which session setting you want to keep. so it asks

The prompt that asks you if you want to replace the ZUP file only comes up when you have 2 sessions of Navision running at the same time. If you close one session, then close the other session, it'll ask you whether you want to replace the ZUP file.

Take a look at these properties of the form

SaveTableView, SaveControlInfo, SaveColumnWidths, SaveValues, SavePosAndSize

They are responsible to save any user specific changes made to the form. You can set any of these properties to "yes" and achieve needed result.
