Planing Worksheet

Hello everybody,
if a Purchase Order gets the status "Released" then it can't be changed.
This is ok!
But regardless of this Nav4.0 changes it if we plan the item on the Planing Worksheet of the modul Manufactoring and choose Functions -> Carry Out Action Message...
This is absolutely wrong!!
Does anybody know whether it is a bug of Nav4.0 or it is just because we configured something wrong?
Thanks

There is a field on the purchase order line, called planning flexibility,
by default this is "unlimited" which mean that the calculate plan will look at it and suggest changes ect. Regardless if the purchase order is released or not.
If you change it to "none" then the planning calculation will not look at it.
I changed the init value on the purchase order line table of the planning flexibility field to "none", and if I decide to allow a po to be changed you can still change the planning flexibility on the po line.
this should be the default, because how many vendors allow you to change an existing Purchase order. very few I have every come across.
You may also want to change the init value of the req worksheet line planning flexibility field to be "none" also.
You could also, modify the Purchase Order release function to change the planning flexibility to that when you released the PO, that would make it "none"

thank you, themave!
