Business Analytics - Date Functions

Hello,
I need to view month-to-date , quarter-to-date and prior-year-to-date sales in Business Analytics. The Navision functions available when setting up a cube only include 'Balance at Date' and 'Year to date'. Anyone has any idea of how to achieve this?

And do you know how I can create new functions for a cube in Navision, but to other type of data different from date??

As I know there is no option to do that calendars. Only option is get cube from BA and redevelop it with Visual Studio (BIDS) from MS.
