Planning worksheets

Dear Experts..

I've doubts in the Manufacturing -Planning Worksheets.

I've a master item say ITEM100.
This Item100 has a Production BOM Item130 associated with it....

Now for ITEM130.......
The Production BOm for ITEM130 is ITEM120
The Production BOM for ITEM120 is Item110.
where 130 & 120 are Production Order in replenishment plan and 110 is a Purchase (replenishment plan) in their respective item card.

Now if I raise a Sales order for this master Item100 and run a Plannig for the same.. I should get all these ITEMS listed for Production order/purchase respectively......

But I'm not getting any planning for the items with PRODUCTION ORDER in Replenishment plan in the ITEM card.

Can you enlighten me as to why this is hapenning or if there is any set up adjustment I'll have to make??????

Hi Shilpa,
I am trying to answer your question and making it stepwise as follows:
1. Use planning worksheet with MPS and MRP calculation that is available in option tab.
2. Set reordering policy matches with manufacturing policy (lot for lot and order for make to order and fixed reorder qty and maximum qty for make to stock) either for purchase or production order
3. You must click "calculate low level code" if you doesn't set it yet in the manufacturing set up
4. Make sure that routing and production BOM field in all items that have replenishment production order has filled or you can use lead time calculation field instead of routing.
5. Checkmark the field stop and show first error in the option tab before calculate planning worksheet.

Wnted to know that
1.in the Planning worksheets>functions>calculate regenerative plan. in the items tab in the no field what should I enter ?? the Master item alone or selct all the items pertaining to the MASTER ITEM?
2.also "Checkmark the field stop and show first error in the option tab before calculate planning worksheet. "- where can I find this?

Dear Shilpa,
I don't know it works successfully or not, you didn't give answer but nevermind.
I think you must use filter location that same as in the SO or in the item no. uses :110..130
for the field that I suggest, it's useful to show error happened when you calculate plan in the plan wksh. The checkmark field is available in the option tab when you are trying to calculate Plan - Plan Wksh.
