I need to print a report on a Epson LQ-870 matrix printer. The paper has a size that is not in the list of available options in the printer driver. And there is no possibilty to add a custom papersize.

How to handle this? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/smiles/icon_confused.gif" />
Does someone know a compatible printer driver where the possibility exists to add a custom papersize?

    Hi,
I have the same exact problem, tried to solve in any which way and it didn't work. I think to only way is to print a txt file and then to print that.

I've found that if you've got to print something out in Navision make sure its on A4 otherwise your in for a long night. what you have to do is to choose a paper size that is a multi (in lenght) of the paper you are using. I.e. My document is 6cm x 20cm, so i look for a nav paper size of 12x20 or 18x20... when a (near match) has been found you have to modify the report to incude X number os sections (x being the number of multiples you had to use to match the paper size). Using code you control what prints to the extra sections.

It's a pain but this is the only way i've found around the page throws that Nav uses.
    Hope it helps

    Problem is wel know.
I had the same problem with an OKI printer.

I installed simple a "generic 9 pins" driver from the standard windows cd, and used this for the OKI
