instslling biztalk server

hi,

do we need to install the biztalk server seperately or does get installed along with other features?

if yes,thenwhere can i find it on the navision 3.70 setup cd?

this is because when i try to install commerce gateway request server it gives the error that the MS Biztalk server need to be insatlled before installing it

    Have you read the installation manual at all? All the software requirements are clearly listed there. The setup is very sensitive, and you should install everything exactly in the same order as listed in the manual.

    Biztalk is NOT part of Commerce Gateway. You need to buy one or have one from MSDN or TechNet for testing purposes.

    Yes, its a seperate product. Its part of the microsoft server systems. You also will need to install a NAS, that you CAN find on the product cd.

    Open the file "w1w1instEcomm.pdf" from the product cd and browse to Chapter 2, which should be about Commerce Gateway. In the 'system requirements' section it tells you exactly what to install in which order. Any product that does not have the name 'Navision' in it is a separate product that you will have to purchase to make it work, with the exception of the Commerce Gateway Request Server.
