Writing option field through Ms Access and ODBC on database

I often import data from other db to Navision using Ms Access. When using Navision sql db everything is ok.

I'm now writing on Navision original db (v. 4.0 SP1) through Navision ODBC always using Access: everything is fine except when writing option field. I write different values (e.g.: 0, 1... 5) but when checking table, option field is set to 0 (zero) option.

Anybody knows how to solve this?

I usually use dataport to import data.
This method will more safe.

Check the settings in C/ODBC (N/ODBC) - there is one option for the work with Option fields. You can select if you want them as Text or as Integer.
