NAS ERROR - Supplied Net type is Invalid

Hi,
I am having issues installing NAS and getting the follwoing error message in the event viewer
The supplied net type value of tcps is not valid. The available net types are: Default,Named Pipes,TCP/IP Sockets,Multiprotocol.
Also that the net type in the NAS configurator is blank and it would not allow me to change it. If some one has encopuntered this issue, kindly let me know how this can be solved. It would be of great help.
